Soul2Match is a dating website that takes a different approach to getting couples together. Rather than focusing on questionnaires or personal information, the user submits their photo. The site works around the idea that happy couples tend to share similar physical characteristics. The site also mentions that people tend to be most attracted to those who resemble their genetic counterparts. The site provides the user with a score to see how well two people match based on the physical characteristics seen in their photographs. The user can upload or link a photo or take a new photograph using a web camera to get started. The site is simple enough to understand, even though it takes a completely different approach to making matches.

A new user can join the Soul2Match community by filling out the light blue form on the homepage. The form asks for a username, gender, password, email address, first and last name, date of birth and country location. After checking the terms of use agreement box and submitting the form, the user is advised that they much check their email inbox for a confirmation message. This must be accessed before the user can login.

Soul2Match invites all users to join its singles community for free. There are no subscription fees and the user does not have to pay to make connections. Each user is given access to all current features. The site’s FAQ page mentions that access is free for everyone and that the site is sustained by advertisements which are placed throughout. It is unlikely that this will change after Soul2Match leaves beta, however it is not confirmed that free access will be permanent.

Soul2Match presents an interesting take on internet match making. Single internet users can try their luck and see if the physical approach to hooking up yields desirable results. Some may be put off by the focus placed on physical appearance over interests and other more substantial characteristics.
